The homes and condominiums in Village Walk were all constructed by DiVosta Homes which specializes in solid poured construction.  The homes are literally poured in place.  All exterior walls of the homes are constructed of solid concrete poured over a framework of reinforced steal.  This form of construction is commonly used in high-rise condominiums or in structures like multi-story parking garages where building strength is paramount. 

There is no other method of construction more resistant to severe weather.  If you are concerned with hurricanes Village walk is the place for you.
